I get asked several times a week by members on how to insert links into blog posts. So, I decided it was time to do a blog post about how to do this. Watch the short video below as I walk you through the process of adding links & unlinking on your ActiveRain blog.
As always, do not forget to label your link! It takes only a second but can really increase the power of your blog exponentially!

Thanks for the reminder on labeling your links. Along with labeling pics, in only takes a few seconds, and if people only knew how those labels add up and work for them!
Jeremy,
Thank you for the information. You always have items that are a fantastic help to all of us. I watch for each of your new posts because I know they will be great.
There is one more important thing. If you want your blog entry positioned well by Google in local searches try to keep your blog post over 300 words. That could put you even on page one in Google local key word searches for a couple of days. A very good tool is Google Insights For Search to determine what key words to pursue. Always use key words in your title!
I like the screen capture video, so much easier than doing screen shots. Going to play with Screenr a little over the weekend if I have some free time.
Jeremy, could you talk a little about a few things on your blog? Digg, my BlogLog photos, and screenr all interest me. Also, GetClicky. Thank you for the article above. I just bookmarked it to review!
Jeremy, It has not taken me long to know that when I see your blog, I gotta' go there. I hate manuals and it is amazing I can even drive my car. Your videos are a no brainer. Excellent, as usual. Have a good vacation :)
After hours of frustration this post was sent to me by Erin on your staff. LIFE SAVER. Thanks for your work and a special thanks to Erin and staff for making this simple for us.
Hi Jeremy, so how was your vacation! I hope it was a nice escape from reality. :) I'm interested in the software you used to create the tutorial. That would make life so much easier than doing print screens. :) Is it costly?
Really? Links? We must have some real noobs. Sorry. That sounded really snobby. I just can't imagine not knowing how to insert a link. I'll leave now. My shock is making me sound mean.
Thanks Jeremy. I know how to link, but would never have know how to unlike an extra character. My way is to unlink the whole thing and start again - duh!
I really appreciate your videos. After reading your instructions and then seeing the video, I find the information sticks and the task is so much easier to complete. Keep them coming!

Yipee, Thank you for posting this. I was wondering how to do this. I can't wait to give this a try.
Have a great holiday weekend.
