Port Orange Flower Photo by Lisa Hill: Daytona Beach Native, and REALTOR®"The Smart Choice"

It's time for another Wordless Wednesday post... with a few words  ;-)  I almost forgot about this photo. I just wish I could send the overpowering fragrance through the monitor, along with this photo. It's incredible! So incredible that if I bring a few inside, I can only place one in a room, at a time! So you'll have to imagine that part. And I hope you enjoy the photo =)

Lisa,

Beautiful gardenia, one of my favorites. I used to have them right out my front door.

Lisa - a beautiful photo of a wonderful flower. I find them a bit strong for indoors but that's just me.

The flower looks amazing. I was not sure if it was a gardinia or a cammilla. I wish my laptop had "smellivision" right now!!

Hi Lisa - lovely gardenia, and I understand what you say about the strong scent. Your description had me remembering their scent vividly.

I can smell that gardenia right now Ms. Lisa! Very nice picture. I would have more flowers at my little place if only I had a [young] gardener.

OK. A big LOL to all of you! You guys crack me up. And yes, these are VERY fragrant! I can only put them in large rooms, and I still get a headache if I'm too close. But positioned just right, they're perfect =)

I didn't realize that gardenia's were so rare in other parts of the country. You all are making me appreciate them so much more!
