August 2009 residential real estate sales volume in Madison County GA, showed a slight decrease from July but still above the lows of May and June.
The average Days on Market (D.O.M.) did increase slightly. While median sales price remained flat for 5 months in a row, the average sales price experienced a loss of about 3.7%. Both sections of the county shared equally in both volume and price losses.
At the end of August there were 46 pending sales of residential property in Madison County up 5 from the end of July. Residential properties include single family homes, duplexes, triplexes, condos, townhouses, mobile and manufactured homes.
