Real Estate Bloggers: One Important Tip

Referring to someones blog post as a "blog," is not correct.

The blog is the medium--much like a magazine. You wouldn't say to Ann Coulter, "nice TV." You'd say "nice TV interview, Ann."

So complimenting or referring to an author's blog post as a "blog" isn't correct. Blog is the complete body of work. A blog POST is an individual post or article.

Yep...very true.

So why does Greta say come and blog with me? It always bothers me.

I don't have pet peeves. But if I had one...this would be it!

Thanks Kevin. I have loads of pet peeves about misused words. This was one that mystified me when I first discovered AR - took me a bit to figure out what people were talking about.

THANK YOU! I am a very literal person and things like this drive me crazy! Unfortunately, I think we're in the minority here. Most people don't care =(

Agree, Unfortunately, it seems it's already becoming part of every day accepted speech, like "I think I'll blog about that." I'm guilty of that. It sounds better than, "I think I'll post about that."

Hope it's not to late to correct everyone's way of talking...
