Jay’s Back Porch at Dawn © 2007 Codger Images

Jay and I are still here on Jay’s back porch monitoring the cyber-spottings of the Codger Ladies from around cyber-space, and enjoying (“Jay, what is it we are enjoying, exactly?” “ Med, just scroll down the page to yesterday’s post and copy & paste—it’s what I do.” “Oh, OK—isn’t that cheating?” “Yep.”) our porcelain, not china, but made in China, Codger Collectible Mugs of organically & shade-grown, fair-trade, French-Roast coffee.

So far, this is where we know they’ve visited:

06:51am CDT: Spotted at a Farmer’s Market in Maryland or Northern Virginia.

07:14am CDT: Seen at the Baltimore Inner Harbor.

08:19am CDT: Spotted in several W. Virginia locations.

09:14am CDT: Observed at Flagler Beach, Florida.

10:11am CDT: Seen in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This was the last known sighting.

WOW! Those ladies get around in a hurry when in cyberspace! But it begs the question: where else have they gone? We know they like the mountains, but the "krafty one" has apparently not seen them. I know Laura likes Chicago, but the Reala-Stager apparently not seen them as well. What of the West Coast? The extreme East Coast, Denise in Newfoundland, for example?

Carl, Harold & Fred have borrowed Jay’s Cyber-Vue and are also loose in Cyber-space—so keep your eyes open for them as well.

I don't believe Carl, Fred and Harold are actually looking for the Codger Ladies, but are using this as an excuse to go cyber-traveling.

I've invited them for a day here on the Morehead Waterfront.Hoping they make it here..

It is Big Rock Week and I was  planning on taking them down  to watch the Blue Marlin weigh ins!!

Uh oh! ! !    Unless I'm mistaken, the ladies are investigating a new mode of transportation.  Have any of them had flying lessons???  Is it possible that these ladies have a tad more adventure in thier hearts than has been known??

I believe they were observed at the local airport in Leesburg VA.

I agree with Medford, the boys should be out cyber looking for the Codger gals but I think they've gone cyber fishing while cyber traveling.  Seems Jay and Medford are holding down the fort and possibly enjoying some peace and quiet back home.  The ladies I think are having a great time.  I spotted them here on Signal Hill which overlooks St. John's, Newfoundland watching some icebergs and whales.

 Cabot Tower

This is Cabot Tower where Marconi received the first wireless transmission from Europe.  For all you youngsters out there thats pre-cellphone, blackberry, or i anything.  I just hope the Codger Ladies make it to George Street - lots of fun, food and friends.  I'm hoping to hook up with them so we can go cyber shopping on Water Street.  The Canadian dollar is doing pretty well against the USD so they might come home with a few fashionable finds.

CodgerettesThis is like someone stealing your favorite garden gnome, taking it on vacation, sending "hostage photos" and returning it to the garden after the vacation (not that I'd ever do that).  I have not seen the Codgerettes, but they area welcome to stop by any time the like.  Free tortoise rides at Barefoot Beach.  Don't hurt yourself laughing at my lame-o graphics.

Sarah: “Oooh, now you're just ASKING for it!!” You noticed, Huh? Were we that obvious?

Michele: “I've invited them for a day here on the Morehead Waterfront. Hoping they make it here.” Carl will love that!

Lenn: “Have any of them had flying lessons???” Collie has her private pilot’s ticket---hmmm!

Denise: “I spotted them here on Signal Hill which overlooks St. John's, Newfoundland watching some icebergs and whales.” That’s a beautiful building. Laura knows the value of a dollar.

Peep: “Don't hurt yourself laughing at my lame-o graphics.” Not a chance! Both med & I busted a gut laughing at the thought of them riding a tortoise—such thrill-seekers!

Kaye: Looks as if they stopped to wade in the waves in Manhattan Beach CA.” Woo-hoo! They made it to the West Coast!

Lysa:  How did they ever get that VUE up on the walk-over bridge to the Daytona Speedway?” I don’t know, but better there than ON THE TRACK WITH MY VUE!

Bob: “Did they use the technology of Cabot Tower to head over to Europe???  Teach 'em to use a mouse and now look!!!” Stonehenge??? Laura has accused Medford of being involved in its construction…what IS she trying to say?Football doesn't start for a while!!!Ummm, Bob, they’re not fans—hope they don’t wait too long! They are slow getting to Baltimore with a quick stop in Middletown MD right off Interstate 70 for a round of golfWith their handicap, the round will be neither quick nor painless!

CBB: “I don't know how to do that stuff! Shucks. It sure is fun to watch though.” That’s OK, we can’t carry a tune in a bucket…wait…bad analogy!

Jay, the Ladies better slow down or they are going to get a cyber ticket from the cyber police.

George: Hmmm, isn't the idea in cyberspace to reach ever-higher speeds?

LOL If I would have had a picture of the actual track with me yesterday I would have put them on it :). I carry around 4 Flash Drives full of photos, but my speedway photos are on a cd somewhere here at the house....

Oh Man! Who stole our fruit!!!

You know Jay for a Codger you make a lot of sense...................LOL

After all they are traveling in Cyber Space where it is possible to get from one place to another with a click of a button.  So that leads me to ask, why do they need a Motor Home then??? :)

George: “…why do they need a Motor Home then??? :)” Well—it seems perfectly clear to me—to give me something to draw!

Bob: “…passed through Richmond…” Looks like they’re the big men on the track.  “…Carl, might be pressing his luck, if he thinks he is going to drive today.  PUT ON A HELMET!!!” Carl HAS a pretty hard head.  You’ve done a great job pasting the characters into the photos!

George: I WAS prepared for your question as I'd asked myself the same question and after much deliberation and consideration came up with a reasonable answer.

Bob: Good plan!

Bob! I love it!! You have much better photos then I do! We sure won't see Lil E in that car much longer, not that I blame him, but he could have picked a better team to go with, (just my opinion)

I knew those cagey Codgers worked their way into practice at the Daytona Speedway.. I found them coming off of Turn 3!

Jay, I agree!!  Bob did an excellent job! I wish I knew how to do all that myself. I may have to take a photo shop class.. I try to read the help stuff but it makes no sense to me :(
