The "Heritage Walk" at the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center, leads to the parade field where all basic training graduation exercises are held. Wooden Barracks and Buildings have been moved next to the parade field to serve as a reminder of the "good old days". On the second floor mezzanine are the Officers Candidate School Hall of Honor and the Ranger Hall of Honor. Thank you for posting these pictures. We will be in Columbus in November and plan to make the museum one of our stops.

I appreciate the pictures and your efforts to share parts of Columbus and Fort Benning with those of us who are out of country. My family and I won't be returning until 2011. Please keep posting pictures.

Robert, when you and Marge get back home, give me a call. I will be glad to show you around town and to help you find a new home. There are neighborhoods popping up everywhere. Old eyesores around town are being removed and replaced with more modern businesses. This is a great little town.
