Living The Plymouth Lifestyle...

Plymouth, Michigan

Living in Plymouth is a lifestyle...not just a town!  Along with our local shops throughout the town, Plymouth offers many different restaurants.  Plymouth allows someone to park their car, do some shopping, grab dinner, catch a movie and finish up with an after dinner drink.  You can walk everywhere when you live in or visit Plymouth.

Summertime brings music in the park on Friday nights for the whole family, along with children's music on Wednesday morning.  We have a Memorial Day parade and our 4th of July parade is the earliest in the Country starting at 7:00am ET. Also, in the summer, Plymouth offers Art in the Park and sidewalk sales all leading up to The Fall Festival.  The Fall Festival includes rides for the kids, car show for adults and also Saturday morning pancake breakfast and Sunday Chicken BBQ.

Winter in Plymouth looks like Bedford Falls from "it's A Wonderful Life" with the lights strung along the streets and park, it really makes the holiday season more special.  Winter also brings ice carvers from around the world to compete in our Ice sculptor competition and festival.

Growing up in Plymouth has given me great insight to this wonderful community.  I've seen many changes over the years...for the positive, today when you drive through town; you see people everywhere, families everywhere and everyone enjoying life.  It wasn't like that as a kid...it's really awesome to see!  Plymouth is a great place to live and raise a family.  My kids love riding bikes to get ice cream or riding to the park to play in the water-scape.  Plymouth has a true small town feel with a great location.  Plymouth is located 30 minutes from Detroit and Canada and only 15 Minutes from Metro International Airport.  If you want that hometown feeling and a real sense of community then you need to consider making a move to Plymouth, MI...My Hometown.

Plymouth...My Hometown!
