Southwick's Zoo Recognizes New England in the Month of September!

September is a great time of the year to visit Southwick's Zoo in Mendon, MA that we featured in our 100 Days of Central Mass blog.  They will have one day designated to each New England state and if you visit the zoo on that day, all admission is buy one get one free (of equal or lessor value)!  Too bad I didn't know that a few days ago...we went on Monday!  Just present your state ID when you are purchasing your tickets.  Check below for your state's day and plan a visit!

  • September 5th - Massachusetts
  • September 12th - Rhode Island
  • September 19th - Connecticut
  • September 26th - Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont

Kathleen, this place brings back some memories, we used to go there on school trips when I lived in Marlboro Mass as a child.

Hi Steve!  I love Southwick's!  It's a lot of fun, the boys try and feed the deer and they can't help but chase them even after being warned it'll scare them!  They are just young and get too excited, it's a lot of fun to watch.
