Bradenton is located on the West Coast of Florida about an hour south of Tampa and is just north of Sarasota.  Bradenton offers a vast array of different types of housing.  There are condos within walking distance to the Gulf beaches, small bungalows just off the beaten path, yet are still close to the beaches, homes and condos located right on the beach, condos and homes located on the mainland that are a short drive to the beach, condos and homes that are close to downtown and everywhere else in between.  Whether you are looking for a single family home, condo, villa, duplex, handy man or fixer-upper, investment property, a second home or anything else, you are sure to find what you are looking for here.

The price ranges of homes and condos also vary depending on the location and size.  But to give you a general idea, single family homes start around $90,000 and go up into the millions.  Condos start around $85,000 and also go into the millions.  So there really is something here for everyone!  These prices of course are as of June 2007, and could change at anytime.

There is just about every type of restaurant here.  Enjoy a sunset on the beach while eating dinner at The Beach House and enjoying the music & entertainment.  Or how about a steak at the Outback?  There is also Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Carrabbas, Twin Dolphin Marina, Applebee's and Bonefish Grill just to name a few.  There are also tons of other little cafés and small restaurants located throughout Bradenton and on the islands, and of course every single fast food restaurant you could imagine.

As for entertainment goes, you are never too far from something to do.  There are movie theaters, museums, shopping, golf, water activities, historic sites, spectator sports, flea markets, parks & gardens, site seeing and much more.  Bradenton is also not far from Busch Gardens in Tampa and about 2 hours from the Orlando theme parks.  Also close by in Sarasota are the Mote Aquarium, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Sarasota Jungle Gardens and the Ringling Museum.
