The Queens Lake subdivision in Williamsburg has been the subject of several of my blogs lately.  I recently posted a blog about doing a market analysis for a friend who lives in Queens Lake.  As a result of that another realtor in Williamsburg contacted me about the possibility of showing the house, which is not even listed, to some clients of his who need to buy a house; and they told him that they only want to live in Queens Lake.

This is not the first time I have heard someone speak favorably about this lovely subdivision.  When I moved to Williamsburg in 2002, one of the first friends that I met told me that Queens Lake was her favorite neighborhood.  More recently, I had someone contact me about finding a rental property and he said that he and his wife only wanted to live in Queens Lake.

I must admit that Queens Lake does have a lot to offer its residents. Perhaps it is the lovely large wooded lots and traditional homes.  Maybe it is the gently rolling landscapes or the beautifully landscaped yards and gardens.

Maybe it is the fact that some of the houses back up to Queens Lake while other houses back up to Queens Creek.

In addition to the beautifully landscaped lots, gently rolling hills and waterfront lots, there is the marina on Queens Creek that is available to the residents. So the homeowners can keep their boat at the marina and can enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the York River, go fishing in the Chesapeake Bay or check their crab pots all from their resident's marina.  With all that Queens Lake has to offer and the fact that it is uniquely different from all the other subdivisions in the Williamsburg area then it is no wonder that it is a very popular place to live.
