Gmnastics classes are being offered for children ages 4 to 12 years old through the Parks Recreation Department in League City, Texas. Fall classes are on Tuesdays, and start right after Labor Day on September 8.
Through gymnastics exercises and challenges, children have fun and the chance to develop confidence, self-awareness and body control in a safe and non-competitive setting. Increasing motor skills and general physical ability is achieved through mat/floor exercise and the use of apparatus such as balance beams, parallels, bars and wedges. Children should wear clothing suitable for gymnastics.
