The fall-winter Gold Canyon Arizona Marketplace is getting ready to ramp up for a new season. Saturday October 17th will mark the date of the opening for the 2009-2010 season. In the first few weeks the events will start at 8:00 and run till 2..ish on Saturdays.The earlier time is for the first few weeks because it will still be warm mid day. When the cooler weather arrives they will be changing the operating times to later in the day. Gold Canyon Embroidery is the local business in charge of setting this event up. The event is a perfect way for residents and visitors to the area to get a glimpse at the local Gold Canyon businesses, all in one spot. Snow birds who are coming back to the area, or visitors who may not be familiar with all the great local businesses really enjoy being able to see all the businesses in one spot.
