In New York State Brokers who had been selling real estate full time for 15 years or longer used to be exempt from taking continuing education until this past year when this rule was changed.  Now there will be no more exemptions.  In Texas I guess they don't exempt anyone.  From the Dallas News:

The grande dame of real estate, now there is a title to aspire to! That is wonderful! 

I believe no matter how long we have been in real estate we need to take continuing ed. Perhaps I don't like the content at times, but we need to keep our education levels up up up.

WOW at 95 I hope I will be that spry.  I guess we all need to stay on top of what is going on in our business even if we could have been doing it for as long as anyone else could possibly remember.
