Terri - even thou we don't really have 'fall' here in Phoenix I still take out the pumpkins etc and make it look like fall.  It could be 100 outside but it's fall time in the house!

Great pic - poor little pumkin!

Teri...  that is so true in what Bill G. stated.  And would that pumpkin be mine if I am opposite of the garden?  ;o)

April--I always thought of fall as a season where things began again not spring...probably because of the school year. I too like the cooler temps of fall but we didn't have much of a summer this year in MN.

Lee&Carol--Didn't think everyone would think of this as a fall photo...there is green on the pumpkin and ragweed 'the hayfever-flower of August' in the photo. But...Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of summer so I understand the connection.

Anna--It's too early for the pumpkins to come out for decor around here too...They are still growing and the flowers are still blooming...Around Oct 1st is when we decorate (and clean up all those darn leaves...pretty on the trees but lots of work in the yard!)
