What a great shot Marchel. Was this some kind of event? Looks pretty darrn cool!

Wow! What beautiful pictures! I hope you are having a great Labor Day weekend! We are down on the "Texas Rivera" just enjoying the heck out of "not working"!

Marchel - These are some great shots! What was the event?

BILL, This was the 4th of July at Lake Conroe. We were having a boat parade and these guys did a flyover.

RUSSELL, I'm celebrating at Riveria Spring TX and having an easy going weekend. I do plan on working tomorrow though which is okay since hubby has to work also.

JASON, I have to give credit for those great shots to our daughter Tarina. Over the 4th we had a boat parade at Lake Conroe. I think this was the first time ever to have both of our young adult children on our sail boat. It was very cool! I can't tell you the relief it is to have our son home and a college student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Marchel, well Tarina hit the mark on those photos of the flyover. Very good photos and I must say it certainly is neat that she provides you access to these. Is it a point and shoot or something larger? The boat parade also sounds like maybe some photos are coming our way? I love learning about areas through photos. What we should do is after we run a photo on the wordless days is that we should follow up with the story about the photo the next day. That would be ye another way to reach out and teach about our areas or whatever the photo is about. I might give that a try and see if an tie my photos to having even greater relevance. Trough your post Marchel, I talked my self into yet another exploration. Funny how that happens when inspired by photos.

Marchel, how wonderful, Tarina did a fantastic job with these photos! A boat parade huh? That sounds like fun too!

WILLIAM, I have been thinking for a long time about doing a post with the pictures of the 4th of July boat parade. Maybe tomorrow will be the day.

ANDREA, It was great fun having both kids on our sail boat. She did a great job with these and more. I guess I need to work on that post.

TONY and DARCY, I have to give our daughter credit for these pictures. She has quite the eye.

MARNEY, Our daughter made some great catches there.

MONIQUE, I thought those cloud puffs from the engine were cool also.

Like Gary I too love watching the older classic crafts flyover. We have a lot of crop dusters in our area. They are fun to watch also. Great shots!

Marchel, Your daughter did a fabulous job, it's difficult to capture those planes they are moving SO fast! I love air shows and go twice a year, we just had one yesterday here. I'm glad you got to enjoy it.

Were those members of the Confederate Air Force? When my marketing guru drove me through Midland, he had to stop to see the Confederate Air Force since they were based there.

Those old planes are very cool, and scary at the same time, to me! I love to look at them in the air, but I don't want to be UNDER them! =o/

When we lived out by Edwards Airforce Base in California, we would attend a few air shows (when I was younger). They were always amazing, whether they were in the air or we were checking them out on the ground. Its amazing what those pilots can do.

GARY, I love air shows also. We use to got to them all the time but have not been to one in years. This happened to be a fly over of a boat parade.

TREY, We love the old planes also. Our family likes just about any kind of plane.

LYNDA, It was a fun event. William got me going on getting the rest of the photos ready. I'm going to put it up tomorrow. I did not think I should put an Independence day event up on Labor Day (lol).

DIANE, It is very cool that I get to use all my daughter's wonderful pictures. Since she is not using her graphic art degree I am glad to see her using her eye through the camera lens.

CAROLE, I'm jealous. I love air shows but we don't get to go much living here in Houston. We use to got to McConnell Air force base every year. This was actually just a fly by at a boat parade.

JIM, Years ago I remember going to the Confederate Air Force but I don't think these planes came from there. To be honest I'm not sure where they came from but it was very cool!

DEBI, I love air shows also but in this case it was a fly by so I don't know a thing about these planes. We were actually on a sail boat. It was a boat parade over the 4th and our daughter took the pictures. I'm going to put the rest of the pictures on tomorrow. I didn't think I should put a 4th of July boat parade on Labor Day.

IRENE, I think she is a gifted photographer also!!

CHERYL, In this case there was a whole lake under them.

JOHN, We love air shows. We even went to the ultimate air show in Wisconsin once.

we recently had out international air show here in Lethbridge. We attract some of the major air planes and exhibits from around the world and it is always amazing. Good pics.

STEVE, My daughter is a really good photographer. When I try to take shots like this it gets lost in the vapor trail.

DIANE, I'm ready to see those beautiful blue skies again. We had no rain all summer and now the faucet won't turn off!!

KONNIE, I love the old planes also. I really don't even know what these were.

RANDY, We do have some beautiful blue skies and hopefully they will be returning soon. Our ground is a soggy mess right now.

HEATHER, This was a very cool 4th as we had both of our adult children with us. WAY COOL!!

ROBERT, An International Air show; I'm jealous. We love air shows but don't get to many now that we live in Houston.

CARLA, It was a beautiful fly over and our daughter caught it so beautifully!

LIZ, I love air shows!! I just wish that I was able to attend more of them. This was just a flyover so we only got a taste.

RICHARD, My husband took me up in a Cessna 150 when we were dating and that was probably about the quietest he has ever seen me. My only response was "Is everything okay".

RUSSELL, I learned the correct name for vapor trails but who knows if I will remember it tomorrow (lol). I will try though.

MIKE, It was a beautiful day and even more so because we had both of our children with us!! What a relief to have our son out of the Army and a college student.

CRYSTAL, It was a fun day, very windy but fun!

STEVE, This was take from a sailboat and yes it was fun!
