After a leisurely 2 hour ride to Toronto - Sylvie Conde met me at the station - after a year of chatting on A/R we finally met! Sylvie had scouted out a cool B & B for me to stay in ~ Indian Grove B & B that wouldn't be too far from Rachel's new place in Little Italy.....

I've always had a soft spot for Victorian Homes - and Antiques - and this place had it all! Right next door to Toronto's famous 'High Park'.........and only a 15 minute streetcar/subway ride to the heart of Toronto.

This West End Toronto Boutique B & B and its sister B & B across the street High Park Estates- offer a variety of rooms - some with ensuites, others with shared baths.....and some include kitchenettes...

Enjoying the backyard gardens after an action packed day exloring the streets of Toronto ...

 My room for the week...

Two other rooms and the All Marble Bathroom........

1200 sq. ft. Top Floor loft Conservatory

Margo and Ziggy  - the owners & hosts have converted and completely renovated these century old Victorian homes ~ let it be your home away from home while staying in Toronto! Affordable and only 5 minutes from the Keele Subway station that'll take where you need to go!

I swear that bedroom is bigger than my house.
It's a beautiful neighbourhood, Liz.  You only got to see a little of it.  You have to come back to explore the west side of High Park. :)

Liz you lucky duck you!  I absolutly LOVE Toronto.  My baby sister lives there so I get up there quite often.  She doesn't live to far from where you stayed.  Isn't that fun exploring Toronto - so many interesting and neat place, not to mention the restaurants.  I'm sure you had a LOVELY time!

Liz - Sylvie did such a great job being your Toronto tour guide and accommodations expert.  We don't have a lot of B&Bs in T.O.  This B&B looks like a very nice one.

Liz,

Indian Grove is one of the nicest streets in Toronto. When originally constructed, it was THE place to be.

Wow, If I didn't know you were in Toronto, I would have guessed Niagara on the Lake.  Gorgeous room to come back to every night.
