Some blogs are just fun! They generate constructive and intelligent comments, and they make us think. Also, I confess to being

"Mr. Positive"

at least most of the time.

Every now and then someone wants to point out

"the reality of the situation"

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, no not that! You know it's going to be such a bummer.

Okay;

reality;  the quality or state of being actual or true, the state of the world as it really is, rather than as you might want it to be.

One of the definitions actually went on further to state as an example, "business men have to face harsh realities."

Well the reality of that example, in my opinion, is that it should be business people, or you just left out a very large, successful, and truly wonderful percentage of our population.

A BIG question? who gets to decide what reality really is?

Personally I suggest referring to "the World according to Jay." ( just kidding)

In my life's experiences I have come to believe that many people who have negative attitudes like to use as their justification that the reality of the situation supports their position.

Here's one from me that may help, or not, just think about it.

"Most buyers do not want to purchase a home from a negative salesperson."

Being negative just doesn't sound like much fun, I don't want to live my life that way. I choose not to.

So for everyone else, all my negative friends, I need to know, can you please just

Change that (atti)TUDE!

Jay, Some people just can't stand to read something without seeing their comment there too.  And they see themselves as the voice of reason.  They don't stop to see the other side of the story.  Have a great Labor Day.

Jay - Great post.  I've been contemplating one along the same lines, but you beat me too it.  I'm not much on sunshine, rainbows, and rose-colored glasses, but looking for the bad in everything is a tough way to go through life.  There are opportunities all around us.  If you want a home, find an agent who will help you find them not one who is going to give you excuses.
