I love activerain. I'm here everyday, whether I post or not. But don't get blinded. There are some great blogs out there about real estate that don't post (or post regularly) on AR. Here are some of my favorites. Surf's up!
Real Estate Blogs I Like
- Bawldguy - Jeff Brown takes you for a spin in the world of real estate investing. Sharp as a tack with a quick whit.
- REagentinCT- Or as you may know him...The Sock Puppet. Brace yourselves. I make no representations on what you may find. And if you take bad MLS photos...you may find yourself being ridiculed.
- Real Estate Spouses- I think it used to be Real Estate Wives. Good, Lord. PC in the blogosphere? Truly an entertaining read about real estate from a different perspective.
- Realtor Genius- It looks like he's left the dark side. Seriously, the page background is now white. He is a genius. Sometimes I don't know what he means. :)
- The San Diego Home Blog- Funny, informative and occasionally sarcastic. I like that. And her husband blogs, too.
- Blue Roof- Not sure I can put my finger on why I like this blog. But I do. It's well done every time.
- UrbanDigs - This is a guy I'd like to co-op with. Out of NY. Smarter than me (how hard is that?) and calling out his own. NY does real estate a bit differently than the rest of us.
Here are a couple of blogs I like even though they have absolutely nothing to do with real estate.
- Shake Gently- a technologist's view of the world of advertising. Full disclosure: A friend of mine. An easy read and talks about advertising that has nothing to do with housing.
- An Affair With Urban Policy - He's been going through some reconstruction lately. So be patient with him.
This list is in no way all encompassing. But these should get you started. Don't be afraid to venture outside the activerain community once you've established your 100 point quota for the day. :)
