I cannot tell you how refreshing and grateful after I had my First Real Vacation over the past week.  My family went to Vancouver and then Seattle for a wedding!!  I meant REAL Vacation cause we went to Canada and the roaming charges are so expensive and I had to turn off my cell phone(yeah...TURN OFF MY CELL for 3 DAYS!!)  I felt so relaxed and don't need to worry about picking up the phones 247 and can enjoy the time in Canada!!

I suggest all my fellow realtors who will take a vacation in the near future, go to a place that you cannot take any phone call at all!! No phone call and enjoy the time only with your family!

But I start working on Labor Day which I think we all should stop working and enjoy the holiday with all other Labors.....obviously...I did not have the chances to celebrate the Labor day holiday :(

Anyway, back to work and still miss my Real Vacation but will defintely plan something like this once in a while to refresh and enjoy the time with family!!  Here is the pic we took at Butchart Garden in Vancouver, Canada.

Hannah, I have done that, isn't the peace heavenly?  We went to Onancock, VA a couple years ago for a short vacation and my cell phone didn't work there!!  I was so relaxed when I got back!!.  But, you know you can take a break at home and just turn your phone off - I did that over the weekend, it was very nice.

Hannah, sounds like you and your family had a great time in Vancouver. It's nice to get away once in a while.

Thanks for your comment and your suggestion!  I learnt to turn off my cell phone after 11:00p.m after I picked up a phone at 11:30p.m when a tenant called me to take the mices out from the mice trap for her.... I also turn off my cell phone every Sunday morning when I attended the Sunday services and that's about it.

Michael

Thank you for stopping by and we did enjoy the family time without any phone ringing....all day long!
