As the Community Manager, I want to "Welcome" you to ActiveRain,

ActiveRain is a place that supports you and the need to create a successful and rewarding Real Estate presence and Blogging portfolio.  Just by being a member here, you'll have access to many real estate services, professional contacts, real estate opportunities, and best of all - the camaraderie of like-minded people.  Now that you're a member, create your profile, tell others about yourself and why you joined.  Invite affiliates and other Industry Professionals.  See who else is already here and say hello to others.

Once you have the chance to explore ActiveRain, read some Blog posts, make a few comments, join a few groups etc, you'll quickly discover why so many of our members are here.  This is a network and community like none other in the Real Estate Industry.  As a FREE member, you'll be able to enjoy the networking, the sharing of valuable knowledge and experience, and be exposed to a variety of tools that our members are using to promote and grow their business.

There is Plenty of "Value" Here:
There are 3 primary FREE benefits that you derive from your involvement here on ActiveRain:

1.   Develop and Foster Potential Referral Partner relationships. For the most part, many of us refer 'out of area clients' in the blind. We don't always know the agent on the other end very well. Our members have cultivated some incredibly deep and meaningful friendships with other members they would not hesitate to entrust their valued clients.

2.   Having access to the sheer wealth of information that is being shared every day.  It's like taking a drink of water from a fire hydrant.  All of our members have learned more valuable, practical ways, using expert information here on AR that has had a direct and positive impact on their business. In some cases, more-so than some of the continuing ed classes they have paid for and traveled around the world to attend.

3.   You are afforded a safe, non-threatening, encouraging environment to get your Blogging feet wet, and to learn the basics of implementing social media and social networking into your Real Estate Business and Marketing Plan from some of the "BEST" Professionals and Experts in the industry.

A "RainMaker" Invitation for New Members

When you are ready to take your Social Networking and Blogging experience to the next level as a "RainMaker Member",  here's a "no risk", "no obligation" test drive so you can experience for yourself the "value" and "benefits" the Rainmaker membership offers.  Sign up for the first month for $5.00.  This will give you full access to all that ActiveRain has to offer.

Give us 30 days to show you how you can benefit from the tools here, and if you're not completely satisfied with the results and rewards, then at least you'll have the peace of mind knowing that you didn't miss out on something that later you might have regretted.  I'm 100% positive, you're going to be happy you joined.  See what thousands of other members are saying.

Become a RainMaker Member - Get Discount

The cost of having your content crawled & indexed by the search engines, and accessible to consumers is well worth the monthly subscription fee. Very few other platforms can empower you to achieve such excellent page rank as ActiveRain.  The additional benefits of a rainmaker account including but not limited to your own "Multi-Authored - Custom Outside Blog", "Hit Router and IDX Lead Generating Solutions", and the "support and training" available from our staff, are just a few of the reasons that consideration to upgrade should be made by every non-rainmaker member.

You can't fill your car with gas for the week, for the price it costs you to be a Rainmaker per month.  ActiveRain is a tool and vehicle to get the job done, and make life simpler, just like a car.  In fact, you can be much more effective building business here than you ever could in your car, and at 1/4 the price.  The value and power of the relationships you'll build here can't be bought at any price.

If you ever have any questions or need assistance here, please give me a call or email me.  "I will respond and I do answer my phone."  Enjoy your experiences and successes here.  From the Staff and Support Team here at ActiveRain, we not only wish you the very best, we're here to help you achieve it.

Not sure where to start?  Here's 3 Easy Steps:  1. Pick up the phone  2. Dial My Number  3. I will help you.

Hi Brad!  This is great information for those making the decision whether or not to go 'Rainmaker!'  I can attest to the fact that this IS the best way to go with your AR membership--if for nothing else, the Google juice!

And, I too, can attest to the fact that you DO answer your phone AND every question a member may have!

Have a great Sunday...

Thanks All -

Tonight I realized something.  We have nearly 1.3 million posts on AR of which many are YOUR personal success stories.  What just dawned on me is that if there were 10 comments on every post, that's over 10,000,000+ comments here. Many of them are a testament and confirmation of the power of this network.

These "Comments" are scattered all through-out the community and represent 1000's of personal testimonies and success stories on AR.  Here's just a few of what I mean:

Chris Webster   David Monsour   Michelle Evans   Kristi DeFazio   Katerina Gasset   Corinne Guest   Dan Perkins   Rene Fabre   Rick Pelleriti   Bob Haywood

...and these comments were found on a single Blog post.  I bet if you looked for 5-10 minutes, you'd find hundreds of these comments all over the "rain."  It's these types of comments that should make the decision to join or become a rainmaker really very simple. IMHO. :-)

Drinking water from a fire hydrant? LOL (I got a visual....) But I'm glad you posted this because it brings up a question I have anyway. I'm a "grandfathered-in" Rainmaker account. (not paying) And I recently read that if we're not paying, we are NOT getting any SEO like we used to. Is that true? And if so, what has been done to our accounts, to prevent us from getting any SEO from our posts? Ihaven't noticed any "no follow" tags in my links. But I do post to multiple blogs, so I probably wouldn't have noticed my web site leads weren't coming from someone who had followed an AR link anyway. But I'm very curious as to how our SEO could be squashed.... and WHY, considering it's our content that built the site to where it is anyway.

Brad,

Even having paid the full, modest fee for my first month as a RainMaker, I never doubted its value. Just today, have had another lead from my Outside Blog - before 8:00 a.m. Folks are finding my posts at the times that suit them - and contacting me!

I am still learning the value of actice rain.  I still have not ventured into writing blogs for my business.  However, I am convinced it is the right thing to do. The $5 is a great Price...I will pass it to friends.

For $5 you can't beat it.  I had a contractor friend in the office not too long ago and he was telling me how he was paying $100 a month to be top in google.  So of course I had to pull up google search and we couldn't find him.  So I told him what I pay which is virtually nothing compared to that and I was all over the place.  He was astounded.   Active Rain is the best!

Marc - thanks, I love that video. That was the first time I got to meet those friends in person too.

Bob - 10's of thousands more are coming, we avg. about 200 new members a day.

Lisa - you need to lay off the crack! lol~ :-))   We don't control Google, seriously c'mon.

Irene - You rock!! Thanks for sharing that. New folks need to hear that and see first hand that it does works.  Of course you have to put in the time and effort as you have clearly done to get those kind of results.  The nice thing is, between our staff, the ambassadors, and other members just like you, we cut the learning curve and "how-to's" in half for the new folks.

Chris Ann - Content has and always will be king.  The better your content, and properly written, the better your Blog results. Over time, I have seen most members Blogs and posts just keep improving.  The more you Blog, the better you get.  It is an investment of time, but less than some folks might think.

Missy - definitely worth saving up for just to witness the experience.  Just 30 days @ 3 posts a week can make all the difference in the world. :-)

Carl & Cell - I agree, have you seen how many we have now from the 28 different industry categories?  It's awesome!!  :-)

Hey Brad- First chance I've had to say how much I like the new pic!  Now, if there's a Home Stager out there that isn't using ActiveRain to it's full extent, they can contact me.  Most of us in this field are operating within very limited budgets now and if you want the best ROI I suggest signing on now.  But don't stop there.  Make it a habit to set aside time each day to read the posts of others, not only other stagers but others whose topics you find interesting.  Make it a habit to comment on those posts.  And finally, begin your own blog.  Be ACTIVE in ActiveRain.

Looks like I'm a grandfathered rainmaker as well.

I do local SEO primarily in Maryland, I'm a professional blogger who saw a local real estate agent consistantly out rank my local posts... a little investigation/ reverse engineering and I saw how this fellow was using ActiveRain to boost his existing RE blog's ranking in local google ranking

I'm a big fan of AR, I'm not a RE agent but more than a few of them seek me out for local SEO, the economy isn't going to be in the doldrums forever and I'm seeking to position myself well for when the RE industry bounces back- and AR is likely to play a really big part of that.

Hi Camille - the outside Blog gives you your own domain name and SEO without the hassle of having to learn or create Blog posts for for another blogging platform. You create your post on ActiveRain, then check a box and it appears on the Outside Customized Blog with your own URL.  If you want to see a sample, check mine out at http://activeBradsBlog.com.  It's basically a stand alone Blog that gets built from your activerain content, but you only push the posts you want to show up there.   If yoiu need some help, let me know. The OB's are included with rainmaker memberships, otherwise they are only 19.00 for the grandfathered members.

Outside Blog

Brad, I've honestly tried searching everywhere ... to no avail. Can you explain the difference between making a post "Public" (on my internal blog as I believe the default is) and posting something to my Outside Blog? Thanks!

Jeff...

Blog-N-Roll Brad is a busy busy man right now with Rain Camps and all. Following is a link to the AR Manual:

Everything question you may have has been addressed in the manual. There's stuff in there that probably haven't even thought of, yet :)

Hi Brad,

At one point I was labeled a Rainmaker (I guess I reached a certain amount of points).  That label is now gone and my blog posts can not be seen by the public.  Was there an AR post telling us this would happen?  Thanks.

Hi Tony - I'll let Bob Stewart know, hopefully he can help you get this corrected.  :-)

Hey Tony - I'm not sure, but feel free to contact him directly if you like.  You'll find his info at http://activerain.com/arbob.  Since it was a long Holiday weekend, and he's newly married, I imagine he might be sleeping in today!  lol~

Seriously though, he probably got a ton of email over the weekend in which I'm sure yours is included.  Be patient my friend, there's thousands of wonderful members here and only ONE awesome Bob.  :-)
