28 Comments on Wordless Wednesday - Elephant Love or Just Best Friends?
We're a little short on elephants up here in the north country so it's good to see some of the big guys having fun.
Sandy what fun creatures they are! And so lucky for you to witness such affection! Friendship and love go trunk and trunk.... Gloria
Which ever one it is they are just too cute. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Sandy-Most definitely cute pics. Look they are holding trunks. How adorable. :-)
Sandy, It sounds funny to say elephants are adorable but they sure are. I'd always heard they stayed in pairs and these obviously do.
Sandy, We call it a convention where I come from =)
The way I see it,
Paul
Sandy
They look like really close friends.
Good luck and success.

Sandy,
Very cute shots of these romantic pachyderms....
Ann
It looks like a male bonding ritual at a football game. I think they are "high 5ing" each other:-)
Adorable! I agree with Chanda that the last one is the best one of all.
Sherry, It looks like it could be both, doesn't it?
Chanda, The last one is my favorite also. Something you don't usually see in a zoo setting with no zoo keepers around.
June, It seems like they were having alot of fun, 'horsing' around with each other. They really seemed fond of each other.
Caren, I could have watched these 2 for hours, but there was so much else to see. They were comical.
Mike, I think it was elephant love also. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.
Karen, It is, indeed, togetherness.
Michael, I think these 2 were companions for life. I think the one on the right was the male and the one on the left was the female.
Charles, They were having a great time, and they seemed to be playing to their audience.
Wanda, I'm glad we could bring you some African elephants, since you don't really get to see these guys in your area.
Doug and Gloria, I think that you put it perfectly. Friendship and love do go trunk in trunk!
Yvette and Dennis, It was certainly obvious that they were very fond of each other.
Pat, It was cracking me up when the one elephant kept putting his trunk in the other one's ear and mouth!
Carole, These 2 really were adorable.
Paul, It could have been an elephant convention - well said.
Lou, They did look like grand friends, didn't they?
Hi Ann, They are cute pachyderms, aren't they? I had to admit, I had to look that one up. Thanks for the lesson.
Irene, The last one does seem like the best of all, doesn't it?
Hi Sandy, Just had to comment....I say love and just too cute! Really enjoyed the Pics!
Therese, So glad you enjoyed these. They were so much fun to watch!
Sandy,
You are welcome for the lesson...;-)
Hannah wants to know if she can have a copy of the last shot. Please let me know. She would like to use it for her business card.
Ann
