Carol, Summer went WAY too quickly...with too much rain. I'm hoping (against hope) that we have an Indian Summer....wouldn't that be a nice thought?

Thank you all for your kind comments. Our leaves are starting to change, there is a cool feel to the air and the windows are open to enjoy the fresh air. Now we look forward to God's paintbox of color and a prelude to a new year.

Leesa - I look forward to fall too! It's my all time favorite time of year! And I'm going back over to Falls Lake in a couple weeks to grab some shots of the leaves! It's so beautiful over there - although this photo was taken at Lake McIntosh in Burlington. :)
