Today 09-09-09 Ceil's Blog!                    We had these down in Rockport, Texas  over the weekend

The best ever Shrimp Taco with Mango Salsa for this rainy day in The Texas Hill Country

                                                                              Yes it is Raining

                                                                   Shrimp and Mango Salsa Taco's

Small bag of pre-cooked shrimp, defrost, sprinkle with chili powder, salt and pepper. Be sure to drain all liquid. Or you can grill your shrimp.

Mango Salsa:

Chop firm mango, red onion, green pepper an celentro  (do not put in a  blender), sprinkle with a little fresh lime. You can add a little garlic powder and chili powder but not too much.  All these flavors mixed together are wonderful

                    Warm corn or flour tortilla
                    Add Sprimp
                    Mango Salsa on top

This has not one thing to do with home or septic inspections or real estate, but definitely something you can plan for your dinner or as we say in Texas for your supper. Try it, y'all will love these Mango Shrimp Tacos.

This is the best ever. It is easy and delicious.

Richard they were so good. At first I thought only chicken or beef or pork but shrimp. What I like it is easy and doesn't take allot of cooking and great for when you are in a hurry. I'm from Florida and love mango's. This Mango Salsa recipe can go as a topping for many recipes.

    Howdy there Carl and Ceil

Ceil - I'm sure going to have to make some of them, shrimp and mango salsa tacos. I also have never had a shrimp taco, and I've not had mango salsa. Thank you kindly!

Dale that Mango Salsa is great with almost any beef, chicken, seafood or pork entree. The ingredients with a bit of lime juice is wonderful tasting. After you make it let it sit for about an hour in the refrigerator. Let me know how you like it. Mango's are in season right now, just be sure they are firm and not soft.

Thanks for the recipe.  I love mango salsa and we're getting some really nice shrimp off the local boats these days.  Nice size for $5/pound.  Life is good.  Sounds like some good good Monday Night Football food.

Keith I like those big brown bay shrimb friend and the Mango Salasa. My mouth is watering.

Cindy - You can use Mango Salsa with almost any seafood or chicken and its always good. Mango Salsa used for dipping with chips is always good because of all the flavors mixed together.

Ceil, This recipe sounds fantastic.  I've always liked shrimp tacos and I like mangoes but never tried both together.  By the way, you have lots of interesting post on your blog,  I've just been skimming through and enjoyed them.
