09-09-09 The Day The Rains Came to Canyon Lake & New Braunfels Texas

Singing in the Rain at Active Rain!

Less then a month ago this picture was taken; we received less then 1/2 inch.

This morning we woke to thunder, lightening and much needed rain. So far we have received almost three inches of rain. Thank You Lord for this wonderful moisture. Let it rain to fill the streams and lakes, water the thirsty trees, shrubs, lawns and let our wildlife have a long awaited drink.

You never realize how precious water is until you have none. Many folks have lost water because the well has gone dry. We have seen haulers hauling water to subdivisions. Many folks have lost expensive landscapes.

They say we may have some rain the rest of the week. Maybe the drought is over. I hope San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country is also getting these wonderful little drops coming from the sky called Rain. Yes its raining today at Active Rain Real Estate Network.

We are getting rain here near 1604 and Bulverde, too. Yay!

Shirley: Yes I just heard on the radio that is was raining in San Antonio as I pulled into the driveway. Carl called and said it was raining over in Hays County where he has an inspection today. It's a Great Day for sure. Also, the temperature is 76 degrees.

I'm sure the farmers in the area are looking to the sky saying Thank You.

And it sure is good to hear y'all are geting some of that much need rain. And I sure hope they are right, that y'all will get more rain all week. I'm also glad y'all are haven cooler days.

Thanks Dale for stopping to comment. Carl said to tell you hello; we are both sitting in the same room, he is on his computer and I'm on mine. I think he just had a virus attack on something on his computer I hear him over there talking to himself.

It makes me wonder what our land looks like over in Canyon Lake without rain.
