We really just committed to social networking about 2 weeks ago. We have a team of 12 top agents here in Old Town La Quinta. We hired a tech specialist to teach us blogging and the various sites like Active Rain,Craigslist, Postlets, Facebook, My Space, and Linked-In. Each person is finding their online social networking niche and sharing it with the others. Our office is one big room so we are really having a party sharing our blogs, comments, and learning experiences with each other daily. We have even received referrals already. The key as you already know is that we have to keep our regular business going as well. Yesterday we were all laughing to think that we actually had to get up and go show houses and write contracts when we were having so much fun online - not that we don't love to show houses and write contracts too.
