Trailhead parkHow many times did our parents tell us how hard they had it and they walked to school in sleet, rain and snow!  They reminded us they didn't have someone to chauffeur us to and from school and to everywhere we wanted to go.

I find myself thinking of all those phrases on my 4 mile walk early every morning.  I guess I never thought I would enjoy the peace, quiet and tranquil mornings as the moon is out and the sun comes up.sun

 

 

They grumbled about their solitary walks but what they forgot to mention was the regeneration one derives from the miracle of nature in those early hours of the morning. flowers

 

 

 

 

Gary Woltal created a post using the word "regeneration" from Karen Ann Stone's post.  I like this word!  It's right up there with rejuvenate and replenish!

That is one of the things I like so much about our community. Walking, running etc. is fun as there is actually much to see and hear that is soothing. We use to have lots of deer but now with the community built out they have moved on and aren't as visible.
