September 10th - 13th 2009

Join in the fun this week at the annual North Haven Fair which begins on Thursday September 10th thru Sunday September 13th at the North Haven Fair Grounds located on Washington Avenue (Route 5) in North Haven Connecticut.

The North Haven Fair is a highly awaited event in the New Haven County area and is attended by thousands of people each year. For one thing, you can't beat the delicious food that is served up from morning until night from the many vendors who will fill your taste buds with their specialites.

You'll also find something for every member of the family to enjoy at the North Haven Fair. There's great entertainment every night on the main stage or in the gazebo, plenty of rides, games,a petting zoo, pony rides, Wild West Show along with crafts, educational and animal exhibits.

This year's entertainment schedule for the four days is:

Thursday - Sepember 10th at 6:00 pm - The Spectacles

Friday - September 11th at 9:00 pm - The Herman Hermits starring Peter Noone

Saturday - September 12th at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm - Evolution

Sunday - September 13th at 5:30 pm - Big Shot

Parking is more than plentiful on the
North Haven Fair Grounds and it's FREE!

Admission:

The price for General Admission is $9.00.

Senior Citizen Admission Special Sunday ONLY is $5.00.

Children under the age of 12 accompanied by an adult are admitted FREE!

Let's hope the wonderful weather we've been enjoying carries through the next few days making the North Haven Fair a tremendous success and a fun-fiilled event for your and your family to enjoy.

Donna - This sounds like a wonderful fair. I imagine readers will appreciate the reminder. But, wow - the Herman's Hermits? That takes me back further than I want to go. LOL

Jeff - I don't ever miss going to the North Haven Fair. I did a double take myself when I saw Herman's Hermit's as one of the headline entertainers. A few years ago they had Chubby Checker who performed "The Twist".......talk about going back in time! LOL!

Hannah - I take my granddaughter and we have such a great time....looks like we all go back a few years with our memories of the Herman's Hermits. :)

Carole - We've got fairs around here every weekend from now til the end of October. I'm hoping to get to attend as many as I possibly can.

Andrea - Can you believe it? The Hermans Hermits....remember No Milk Today? I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the weather too!!
