Daytona Beach Real Estate Blog by Lisa Hill, "The Smart Choice" for your real estate needs

Halifax Harbor Marina and Yacht Club in Daytona Beach FL It's Wordless Wednesday again. So once again, I'm providing a photo-centered blog on the appropriate day; while tossing the whole "no words" idea out the window... Hey. At least I'm consistent! ;-)

So, for this Wednesday, I'm sharing two photos from one of our marinas/yacht clubs; Halifax Harbor Marina & Yacht Club.

This yacht club is absolutely beautiful, as it was completely remodeled a few years ago. It's also one of the more affordable yacht clubs in the Volusia county area.

I have many photos that I've taken while attending functions at the various yacht clubs in the Daytona Beach, Ponce Inlet, and New Smyrna Beach areas, so choosing just one can be quite difficult. (So I didn't!)

In this first photo, I like the blue skies and puffy clouds, and the rows of boats and yachts that look so inviting. It makes me want to go water skiing! And the second photo is of the front elevation, showing how beautiful the newly renovated Halifax Harbor Marina and Yacht Club really is. And the inside is just as beautiful!Halifax Harbor Marina and Yacht Club in Daytona Beach FL

The Halifax Harbor Marina and Yacht Club is in a perfect location on the Halifax River/Intracoastal Waterway, and within walking distance to the fabulous Daytona Beach downtwon area, where we have trendy new restaurants and shopping, and the new "Wall Street lofts" for those of you who like a condo in the middle of the downtown hot spots. (Call or e-mail me for more info on the Wall Street Lofts!)

If you're considering buying real estate in Daytona Beach FL, be sure to visit our beautiful downtown area. I can help you find a house or condo that is close enough for you to enjoy the many street festivals, fine dining, the Halifax River, riverfront pavilions, walking paths and much more. You can buy a beautiful Daytona Beach house or condo, within minutes of all this!

Lisa - that is a beautiful marina. We don't have many in my neck of the woods - you have to get to downtown San Diego to find the majority of them except for Oceanside to my north. And the one in Dana Point 45 minutes north is spectacular. But then we don't the intracoastal.

Jeff- We have several. I even forgot about the one in Ponce Inlet when I wrote this =/

Don- LOL. I opted for SEO and new clients over "no words". See? That's why I'm "The Smart Choice". HAHAHA!

Betina- Umm, your marina is not on water!? O_O  And when I met my husband, he was living on a Hudson Force 50. Same kind of boat used in the movie "Captain Ron" with Kurt Russell. Actually... I think I used it in a previous photo blog post.  =)

Lisa - Love the photo of the marina under those beautiful blue skies.  We've got a number of marinas here as well since we're right on Long Island Sound.  It's always so enjoyable to watch all the boating and sailing activity suurounding the marina areas.

Lisa  I love the sky in the pictures and the marina looks like a nice place.  I so agree with you, the picture is more fun with a story.

I threw out the "wordless" and "speechless" stuff the very first time I posted on Wordless Wednesday and Speechless Sunday. I got chastised real good from some folks who didn't appreciate me using words -- LOL. So I went with WWW (Wordless Wednesday with Words) and SST (Speechless Sunday with Text).

One of the comments I got after one of the chastising comments was that the terms Wordless Wednesday and Speechless Sunday simply meant to her that there was a good picture something in the post. I liked her attitude.

Ahhh, a Maverick.  I've never understood the wordless wednesday thing, it's kind of a fun concept i guess.  Beautiful marina - there is something magical about marinas!

Russel- The Speechless Sunday group doesn't actually say that posts included in the group are required to be speechless. So on those, I just use my header and footer, but I don't describe the photo. But the Wordless Wednesday group says the posts do have to actually be wordless. So I don't post to that group. In this case, I just decided I was going to write a Localism post that would appeal to potential customers. After all, that is why we're here! ;-)

Kate- There are more maverick than you think around here. Don't let the bullies fool you ;-)

I think it is very fitting for you to take the wordless out of Wordless Wednesday!
