P.T.A....OR...P.T.B....???

Anyone who has children has belonged at one time or another to the PTA, Parent Teachers Association...

In our household, we also subscribe to the PTB...Parents Too Busy to breathe association...

We don't hold meetings...too busy...

There are no committees or subcommittees...not enough volunteers...

And there are no dues or fees or fund raisers...but the job is priceless...

Even those of us who didn't vote for change experience it in the PTB...

It is exciting living your life worrying about what event or which kid you may have forgotten at any given time...

Oh well...thank God I have a blog on which to rant...!!!

That's been me quite a bit. Even with 5 kids, though, I've rearranged things so that I can spend a fair amount of quality time with each kid....but thanks for the reminder dude.

With our 5 kids still at home, they attend 4 different schools transported by four different school buses at four different times and three different bus stops...We have football, fall baseball, fall softball, homework, dinner, etc...pheeeewwwww...!!! Thanks, Fran

Fran, never thought of that committee, might have to get another branch started. Out of 5 children we only have 3 left at home and one just started driving so that eases things up a bit. Do you have the big "Calender of Events" on your frig like we do?

I remember those busy days when the kids were growing...I eventually took a job at the school for quite a few years, especially once I realized the school community would take up the vast percentage of our family life for a few years. They were wonderful years, but it's so true, how taxing all the demands can be! I like the PTB club :-)
