Taco Soup

It is not too early to start thinking about cooler day and a good bowl of soup.

Taco Soup is an easy and quick meal to prepare.

1 pound hamburger meat

1 package taco seasoning

1 chopped onion

1 clove chopped garlic

2 cans pinto beans

2 cans Rotel tomatoes

1 can cream corn

1 can Hominy

1 package Hidden Valley Ranch mix

Brown meat, with onions and garlic, drain well. Add all other ingredients (do not drain any of the cans) heat thoroughly and serve with grated cheese and chips

Hi Richard... I am confused about the hominy and creamed corn (not to mention the ranch mix). Maybe I am just more of a taco purist! :)

The soup recipe is not intended to taste like a taco; however a blend of various spices and ingredients some similiar to a taco, you will note lettuce and tomatoes are not included; however others are added. I would say you are more of a bourgeoisie then a taco purist.

My sister gave me a taco soup recipe, a little different than this. I've never ever eaten hominy, maybe I'll give it a try!
