Hidden just across the Prince William County line is the waterfront community of Belmont Bay. As you cross the Occoquan Rivertake a glance to your left and you will be surprised at what you will see. A community Washingtonian Magazine has twice picked as one of the "best communities" to live in the DC area sits right on the Occoquan River.

It can house up to 325 boats and is a popular place for happy hour during warm weather. With a community pool, two sets of tennis courts, a golf course and club house you don't have to go very far to find a place to play.

I love waterfront communities with marinas. Makes me feel right at home, although I've never lived in one. Say, Cindy, what time of day did you shoot all those photographs? I ask because there are no people in those shots. How did you manage that?
Elizabeth-I usually try to do community photos early in the day or I wait for a people to walk by to get a clear shot. When I'm taking photos of communities I look for houses without cars in the driveway as well.
Outstanding video Cindy! What an absolutely beautiful place to live. I had a friend who lived in Virginia for awhile and said it was the cleanest state she'd ever been in. Thanks for sharing.
