Every once in a while you run across a great concept that really makes sense. The folks at RBD Studios have come up with a way for developers to allow agents to market the development by branding the developments own website with the agents information.

The agents sign up on the website to particpate for free. When the developers add developments to the software the agents can toggle those communites to appear on their own website with the agents contact information allowing the agent to keep potential clients near and dear until they commit to a community.

New Technology Helps Realtors Sell New Construction

BONITA SPRINGS, Florida - May 29, 2007 - RBD Studios today announced the general availability of Agent Shield, a revolutionary technology that allows Realtors to use a Developer's existing website as an integral part of that agent's lead generation and sales process.

Currently, real estate agents are hesitant to send any potential buyers to a new development or builder's web site for fear the buyer will contact the sales office directly and the agent will lose the prospect.  Agent Shield is a patent pending product designed specifically to address this problem, allowing agents and developers/builders to work more closely together.  Agent Shield does this by giving agents the confidence and assurance that they will maintain control of their leads when sending prospects to a developer/builder web site.

Using the patent pending Agent ShieldTM technology, when a user clicks on a link to a development from the real estate professional's website or email, all the contact information on the development's website is changed. The user will only see the contact information for that real estate agent or brokerage. Also, the contact fill-in forms on the development site will be sent to the agent or brokerage, thus eliminating the fear of losing leads and empowering real estate professionals with one of the best informational sales tools. This service is completely free to agents and is funded by real estate developers.

"Agent Shield's technology fits perfectly into our agent outreach strategy," said Joe Livesay, President of Mountain Construction and Development in Jupiter, FL.  "Beginning with Coosawattee River Resort, any agent can sign up for a free Agent Shield account and increase their web presence by using www.CoosawatteeResort.com as an extension of their marketing efforts.  We couldn't be more pleased with how easy it works."  Locally, Agent Shield technology is employed by Stock Development and remains a free service to Realtors.

"I am very excited about the new business opportunities Agent Shield brings to realtors.  Our customers can now see real estate development websites with the agent's contact information.  I think it is a revolutionary product that provides realtors with tools to increase their business," said V. Nancy Remedios who is a licensed real estate agent Residential Governor at the Real Estate Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches, as well as a Director of the Florida Association of Realtors ®.

Agent Shield, invented by RBD Studios, recently filed a patent for its technology with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.  "We hope to have a patent granted sometime later this year," said Jason Dolle.  "This technology really creates a win-win situation for everyone involved.  We feel fortunate to be in the right place at the right time."

Jason- all real estate agents have to do is introduce the prospect to the new home community in person (meaning, together) in order to get paid, exactly as is normally the case (or should be) in resale.  What problem?

The problem is you need to be able to send clients to a site to preview and see if they are interested, this way you can do that, get them excited and register them with the community they like keep you as the source of the information.

Michael- therein lies the problem for many large builders- "send clients to a site to preview".  BRING clients to a site, register them, and get paid.  That's the mentality that I've experienced out in the trenches.

Laurie - by using Agent Shield, you can easily provide your clients with the new developments' websites as a research tool.  Your clients can educate themselves about the developments and narrow down their final choices; they will contact you (instead of the onsite sales) to take them to the community to continue the sales process and get you paid.

We understand that websites are research tools.  It's you the Realtor that makes the sale successful.  Agent Shield's goal is to help make your job as efficient and easy as possible while protecting your leads when selling new construction.
