Sounds like a good time. Since I'm 1200 miles away, maybe you can take a few pictures for me to see what I missed.

Both sound like fun. I'm not a golfer so maybe the car show is my excuse for a drive into Chicago.

Diane, I just left Gatlingburg and they had a huge auto show there, the cars even cruse up and down the street there the whole weekend.

George, you know, the cars in our show were many but by mistake the camera was on movie mode which means the memory ran out before most of pictures could be snapped.... bummer!!!

You must have enjoyed yourself seeing the show there.... looking forward to see the pictures!!

Diane, I am involved with our young chamber and we are trying to figure out fund raising efforts. How do these work out for your chamber?

This time we made money with the participants who signed up to enter, also from raffle tickets, and the selling of pop and water which we purchased, placed in coolers with ice and had plenty for the thirsty huge crowd..... (I worked harder than on a regular day....whew!) The prizes were all donated by members of the Chamber. Vendors were invited to place their booths up. Boz Hot Dogs comes every year. We paid Thunder Road Productions (who does an excellent job) to run the show. Because of the location and the nice weather, crowds came, watched, bought, and some entered in last minute. I've not attended the gold outing yet.... missed last year, but we did make money. I know with you being on the team, your chamber will thrive!
