The other day I had a client call and ask me to run over and take some photos of the "water" in front of a listing they had seen on the MLS. It was late afternoon and the water was like glass. Many times when one thinks of Lake Norman they think of the wide open water of the main channel but, in fact, this photo is more typical of the lake. While Lake Norman has 520 miles of shoreline, there are myriad coves and inlets like this one.
That is such a beautiful and serene photograph! I hope you sell them that listing and you get invited to visit now an then!
Diane - what a spectacular photo. I agree with Russell - good luck. That lake view is a real selling point IMO.

What a great setting it looks so calm and inviting. I can see why buyers love the area.
Whenever I see photos of NC I think how much I'd like to visit one day. This is gorgeous!

I love the inlets as they always have nooks and crannys and character. Looks nice and lush there, just like here, but we have some beautiful color starting.
Diane, This looks like such a beautiful place. How peaceful it must be to live there!
Diane,
Glass is a good way to describe the lake in your photo. Great job. :)

Diane - I saw that picture and unlike most of our viewers the first thought that came to my mind was
water skiing on a glass lake! Kind of like carving fresh tracks in powder snow on a ski resort. I could see myself sitting on the porch with a cold beer. Nice pic Diane!
I live in Webbs Chapel Cove and that is right around the corner from this pic...Our cove is very calm and relaxing...Great Photo!
