space manYesterday, I read and commented on a post by Monika McGillicuddy titled So You Think You're Alone Now...  I don't believe the "baby monitor accident" was an accident. 

But then today I log onto my Yahoo! and find that a mother in Illinois is picking up space shuttle video on her baby monitor!

Are baby monitors out of control?  Do we need to have some sort of congressional panel formed to study the effects of baby monitors and the privacy of United States Citizens?

I for one will not stand by and allow baby monitors to dictate how I run my business and what I say to my wife in private.  But now I wonder.  Are those cute little toddlers up the street spying on me?  Or worse, are their parents baby monitorsecretly laughing at the things my wife and I have spoken about "in private" because their child "accidentally" left a baby monitor at our house?

Now I'm suspicious of all babies...and their mothers!

And all this time we've been worried about "Big Brother"!  It's obviously "Little Brother" we need to worry about.  All those cute goos and gaas...probably a secret language!

Monika - Don't think for a second this isn't a conspiracy.

Chris - Have you seen that movie with Kirstie Alley and John Travolta.  Those little guys know what they're doing.

Should I be afraid to take the new fancy monitor out of the box? My wife is due in 2 weeks. It is an axciting time.
