The Whole Foods Market at Pacific Station has been in process for some time, and it has been fun to watch the progress from a hole in the ground in Encinitas to a Whole Foods Market. We still have a ways to go but it will be worth it.

The other cool thing about this project is that the developer donated all the sand they dug up and had it carted over to Carlsbad for rebuilding Ponto Beach, a sand replenishment project in South Carlsbad back in the early part of this year.

This is very curious.  We know it doesn't take two years to build such a structure.  Any idea what has caused the dalay??
