Bridget, it's a small fountain at the entryway to a building.

Pat, me too! This is a gentle, unobtrusive fountain; very pleasant to see and hear as one draws closer to the entrance.

Looks very smooth and peaceful - small can be the best at times.

Maria, It must sound very soothing.....I can sit by fountains for a long time and watch and listen to them.

Carole and Charles, I never thought  of the sound aspect - what a great idea!

Steve, is that a new photo of yourself?

Yes, they do. Ever since I visited the national headquarters of Alpha Phi Omega there in Kansas City, I've been kind of addicted to fountains. Past Kansas City Mayor H. Roe Bartle is one of our distinguished past presidents.

Please tell me that it is broken and they aren't really calling that a full fountain! I've seen drinking fountains that are more impressive!

Poor Bridget and Todd. They apparently have no idea how peaceful a small fountain can be.

As part of the entrance landscaping to an office building, I am pleased that they went to the trouble and expense of adding this small fountain.

Does this photo of the office building the fountain fronts help put it in perspective for you?
