If you have school age kids or have little ones that will become so after moving, you might be interested in
getting information about the schools they will be zoned to attend in Osceola County.
Here is the link to the official site where you can get information about the schools:
http://www.osceola.k12.fl.us/pages_2004/01_01SchoolsList.asp
Once you are there you can click on any of the schools names and it will show you:
- the name of the principal
- the assistant principal
- and contact information
At the bottom of the page you can find the link for the school website and other information provided by the school
district. The one information you probably need to pay more attention to would be The Zoning Map.
I did it for Denn John Middle School and here you can see how it shows the area where the homes are zoned for this
school. The only only drawback I found is the you can not find the zoning by using the address, only by checking one by one.
It is recommended that you check with the Department of Education and make sure the house, condo, townhouse, or apartment you are moving to is zoned for the school you chose for your child :
