How wonderful is Miami that we have not one but two Project Blogger Apprentices? It is my goal to meet every AR blogger in Miami so what better way to start than with our apprentices?
Ines Hegedus-Garcia is no stranger to Active Rain. Ines insists on keeping an updated picture for her business...
and was lured in by her photographer and admittedly just jumped in and started blogging. She has accumulated a lofty 125,000+ points and the fact that her comment points and blogging points are just about dead even, give you a real inside peak at Ines.
A relative newcomer to the business, Ines has achieved great success in just 4 short years in the business. Ines was an architect in her former life. Her love of architecture was challenged when her kids came along in that age old struggle of balancing motherhood with the constraints of a 9 to 5 architecture job. She and her husband both got into the real estate business while continuing to maintain a commercial contracting and management business. Ines used to offer her architectural expertise and services as a value added service for all of her clients. She quickly realized that real estate was enough value to sustain her client base.
Ines loves historic houses. Here in Miami, there is not an abundance - but enough to build a career upon - and Ines is on her way. As you can tell from many of her posts, she is into the details of an older home. As a consequence, she lives and works in an area of older homes and has found a way to work her business into her life in a way that you don't really see where one ends and the other begins, which makes for a very engaging Realtor and blogger.
I was curious as to why such an accomplished blogger would be consider apprentice worthy in the Project Blogger competition. Interestingly enough, Ines has not be able to capture business from her blog, so she entered the competition to learn about the back end workings of a blog so that she could enhance her blogging efforts to generate business. So, her partnership with Paul Chaney has been incredibly beneficial to her and her wonderful new site Miamism is sure to be a winner.
