Cindy Richards has worked for 30 years in Provo, with neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and service organizations - to promote safe healthy neighborhoods, strong schools, and smart economic growth.

Cindy is committed to:

Cindy's Volunteer Work: Tenacity and Results:

•1.      Organized multiple clean ups, painting, sidewalk repairs, home repairs, lighting projects and the planting of over 300 trees.

•2.      Organized community policing, traffic safety task forces, neighborhood historic walking tours and the beginnings of Mobile Watch.

•3.      Created a neighborhood tool lending library.

•4.      Pioneered the Provo City spring and fall dumpster clean-up program

•5.      Helped organize Provo's Night Out on Crime

•6.      Held committee assignments at local public and private schools.

•7.      Helped start the Neighborhood Matching Grant program and teamed up to write a successful $350,000 Grant for "Preservation and Home Ownership"

My endorsement:

During all my years of living in the city of Provo, since I was a freshman at BYU in 1970, I have not run across an individual that cares more about Provo than Cindy Richards.  Cindy has given her Heart and Soul to Provo.  I can't imagine Provo without Cindy Richards.  I give 100% of my support to Cindy Richards and to her efforts to help Provo through another 4 years on the City Council.  Now is not the time to stop Cindy.......  We need her!!!!
