Unless you have been on another planet you know last night was the premier of the new Jay Leno show.

A new set, the absence of sitting behind a desk, monolog, head line news, interesting guest; however somehow it just did not work for me.

We will give him another chance but need to see some improvement.

He sure needs a haircut, or a hairstyle - something!  Some of the show was good, I could do without the jerk at the end! Why give airtime to such an obnoxious loser? That's were I switched channels.

A low budget can be reflected in the results. Maybe the concept is out of date.  Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

The only part I watched was when Kenye West made an attempt at an apology.  Couldn't figure out if he was too nervous to speak or what?!?

Richard-

I was really looking forward to the show, but it just didn't live up to the hype I guess. I was expecting more. Maybe more glamor, more glitz... it just didn't hit the mark for me. I admire Jay Leno as a comedian/performer and will give it another few chances. Suspect there will be a big meeting today on the premier and how it went over at NBC. Hope they get a handle on what will work. It is a tough business.  Just my opinion.

Richard - I didn't see anything exciting, new, or entertaining about his new show.  It just felt like a mashed up version of the Tonight Show.  not appealing to me at all and I am sure I won't watch again.

Richard, I watched up until the first commercial. It seemed like a re-hash of the Tonight Show with a new set. Nothing new to see.

I prefer my talk shows in a "latenight" format.  I don't think Jay will be successful in this time slot.

Im not sure what happened, but I had set the TIVO last night to record it because I didnt get home until late. At some point, someone stopped the recording, so I missed it. I'll try to catch it again tonight and see how it is.

Hi Richard... I agree with you.  I think it was disappointing and missed the mark.  Still... it's cheaper to produce than a drama or sitcom, so NBC will probably give it every chance to succeed.
