Some good entries, and a cool contest.
I'm off to go see what the great creative minds at AR have come up with to market their clients' homes.
Jeremy... WoW.. 52 entries... Not bad at all.. This is another great and exciting opportunity for members to get additional exposure on their listings. Look forward to see the outcome of the voting.
Another successful ActiveRain contest. It's fantastic to see so many great entries and to see how people across North America are promoting their listings.
Jeremy - very cool. But somehow I missed this - too busy I think. There are some great listing posts here. Congratulations to all who participated.
Jeff
Hey Jeremy very cool and thanks for running this contest/ They are all so much fun. My recent blog about contests offers a suggestion you may want to take up
What a great contest. And I've learned from the top ten. So many ideas! Thanks for the 500 pts.
Jeremy - There are some incredible entries above! I must not ever look in the right places because I never know about contests until after it is too late......:(
LOL...
In my case it's not a pot. It's a cauldron :)
TLW...ROAR!
Jeremy,
Really great. Some very creative listings. I enjoyed reading them but now I just want to be able to buy one of them, shows what can happen if you put some thought into advertising your listings. Cudo's to the agents !!!!!
:)
Jeremy: Glad to cast my ballot. And I didn't even vote for myself.
The finalist really put some effort into their post. I am inspired.
Hi Jeremy, Wow !!! Did I learn something today ? My own listing posts look so lame next to these beauties ! No more !
They were all really good. However, there is one that really stood out in my opinion. Why? It was simple. No information overload. If one wanted more information, there was the option of clicking on a link to get it. And most important, it didn't bore with details. It was very fun and entertaining!
Hi Jeremy~ I missed this contest too. But, that is OK I couldn't have done any better than any of these contestants!
Man, oh, man, Jeremy - That was a really, really difficult choice. Although I won't reveal my ballot choice, I must say I am always a sucker for a touch of humor!
Jeremy ~ Thanks for having this fun contest. Even though I didn't win it was fun and I learned from others! Good luck to everyone.
OK, it's late, so I'm going to have to come back to see these tomorrow.
Jeremy,
The way of describing a home for sale to the "Traditionalists" and "Boomers" has mainly been by detailing the features.
I believe I read somewhere on AR that NAR is estimating just over 77% of the real estate business nowadays is coming from "Gen X" & "Gen Y's".
This huge segment (of X & Y's) is apparently most interested in the lifestyle (vs. the features) a home offers. Videos provide these buyers with the information on features (a picture is worth 1,000 words) anyway.
I'm really interested to know if there was one entry that stood out from others in describing the lifestyle?
I am not in the contest but will certainly take a look at the contestants and cast a vote. Hate to miss out on an opportunity to help someone win a prize.
