Active Rain: Top Colorado ‘Rainers Connect for Lunch

Today I had the pleasure of going to lunch with my friends and fellow Active Rainers: Dena Stevens, Kristal Kraft and Sabine Pyrchalla. (Here on Active Rain, Kristal, Dena and I are the top real estate agents in Colorado, and Sabine and I are the top real estate agents in Colorado Springs.)

What a great time we had! It was so neat being able to "meet" Dena and Kristal for the first time, yet feel like we were old friends! Sabine and I work from the same office, so this was such a treat for us!

We went to Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano for lunch, here in Colorado Springs - a perfect "middle ground" for us, seeing as Dena is from Pueblo and Kristal is from Denver.

Of course, we talked about different going-on's in the ‘Rain. How cool it was to have a conversation with other people who understood "Rain Speak" ...!

Topics ranged from the SuperMax prison in Canon City to how a Colorado Active Rain Gathering NEEDS to happen. (Sorry! The AR B-Day even cannot be pulled off this month...) We even tossed around a few stellar AR-CO meeting ideas ... Don't worry. We will keep you posted!

After a few mild attempts from our waiter to get us to "quit chatting and free up his table" we headed back to our respective parts of the state.

Thank you, Active Rain for adding new friends to my life!

Sounds like you guys had fun. I can attest that I have certainly enjoyed meeting my fellow rainers here in AZ as well!

I look forward to *someday* meeting some fellow Rainers, too! Being one of the few AR bloggers in my state is bittersweet. It wasn't hard to get to the top of the heap, but boy -- it's lonely here! When someone new starts posting I write and welcome them, try to encourage them ... and then they fade away.

But I love hearing about other meetings and seeing familiar faces together! That waiter had no idea what a powerful table he was breaking up! :o)

Next time hand the waiter a twenty and tell him to hush :)

It sounds like you guys had a blast. We need to plan a get together in NH soon, there are many of us who know each other already. But it's a good excuse to PARTY!

Nice posting and way to really utilize the networking possibilities of AR - this is one of the desired results of how this site was truly intended to be used :o)

I have had such a great time on AR since I joined back in September 2006. For me, it goes way beyond SEO and real estate. It has become a relationship builder and an excellent source of education - both about the business of real estate AND people.

Holy Cow Jeff! You got a little carried away with the "n's" and "a's" in my name ... I like it! What a cool world we live in, that allows us to become friends with people before ever shaking their hand (or giving them a hug ... Yes, I am a hugger.)!!

I hope many of the Ohio Rainers will converge when Blog Tour USA makes a stop in Columbus on July 13. Sarah...can we annex WV? I probably need to look at a map before I make a fool of myself. A client one time thought Wheeling WV was in Central Ohio because of the highway signs here.

Great photo! We should have a place on AR, like a photo collage where we can upload photos of us with other Rainers when we get together. At the very least maybe a new group is in order??

Joanne, I drove "up the street" to see the ladies, you can drive "down the hill". I love messing with flat landers.......: ) We can pass out the oxygen when they join us!

Looking good ladies! What fun - next time, you'll have to come a little further north. I'd love to get together with all of the amazing Colorado 'rainers. I've been away for a while, but it's always nice to come back and see that you are all still her to support, encourage and educate. Thanks for your great blogging - keep up the good work!
