An executive at Wells Fargo was fired because she allegedly held parties at a beachfront home that Wells Fargo owned and which is in foreclosure in Malibu California. My thoughts were at least she was making sure the property was not being vandalized. With so many homes in this situation sitting vacant all across this country one would think that they would not rise to the level of firing her.

Maybe there’s more to the story that we are not privy to. Now here is another person going to the unemployment line and another ”home” for someone to break into. Read the attached article and let me know what you think.

Robert, apparently the bank didn't see this as a favor since the employee was fired. hopefully she got the tel # of the guest who came with the yacht, maybe he has a job for her.

though not sure that parties would exactly classify as occupying.

"...said last week that it had taken possession of the Southern California property in May and withheld it from the market for an agreed-upon period of time."

I wonder why they didn't put it on market. You would think they would like to recover a huge loss like that ASAP.

sorry, you look like a serious guy. didn't detect the sarcasm. I'm used to the sarcasm from me going out :-)

I thought maybe you were jealous that she was using that house for parties?

No way.She was too blatant with it. Obviously that's why she was caught.

For Pete's sake. she should have called it an open house! What was she thinking calling it a party.

Mary this is the best answer yet. She could have made some contacts to promote herself. Hopefully there was someone there who will give her a job.

Maybe she was doing some 'public relations' work and needed a high profile home to go with it...

I don't feel sorry for her.  Can you imagine how the owners were feeling, having lost not only their fortune, but also their home, and then to have a bank executive rub it in their face, by using their home to throw parties, while they were homeless?  Sick.  She got what she deserved.
