Some people would make their decision on whether they are going to work with you by looking at your picture, what your website looks like or what your slogan or marketing materials state. Even though my profile picture wasn't great,it wasn't bad either. And lately I have become a photographer sort to speak. If I see something that I feel should be captured,I am taking a picture of it.

So when I had a chance to update my profile picture and earn points for it,(At least I'm being honest),I jumped on the chance to do it. But did I make the right decision or did I get suckered in by the Brilliant AR Staff for some points? What do you think? Which one of these profile pictures should I keep?

I like them both Lanre.  Which one are you comfortable with?  That should be your deciding vote :-)

I usually like to see more than just the "head" shot. So, naturally I would prefer #2.

Lanre,   Good afternoon,  on my systemboth seem very dark.  The old one has almost no detail, the second is better but needs to spend some time in Photoshop or take another which is properly lighted.  You're right, people do judge us by initial perception.  Even your second pic does not do justice to your handsome mug.

I think they both look great, too, Lanre.  I think you have to decide which one you like best and go with that one.  Or, you could just take a few and switch them every so often, depending on how your day is going.

Lanre--I like the second one.  It seems more natural.  Yes, soften the lighting next time.  Since you like to take photos make a habit of changing from time to time.  Keep people awake and more aware of their surroundings.  Nice shirt, too.

Don't like either, have your pictures done professionally, and choose the best one. Dress in a suit that is flattering to you skin tone.  (too much brown on brown) Even if you have some one take the picture for you or you take your own picture, still wear a suit, or change your shirt and tie, and make sure of what's in the background.  Then go to picnik.com edit the photo and reload to the Rain.  Just my 2¢'s.

If you agree, looking forward to the new picture.

I like both. The new one is a little crooked, but you have a great warm and approachable smile.

I agree with Erik, I like #2 but prefer an outside photo.  Picture #1 is too dark.  Maybe you can take another?
