Mmm. I'd love to take some of those cooking classes offered. I don't have anything like that in my immediate area. Sounds like a great place to have locally! Would love to visit there someday.
People come from all over to attend classes here. I'd love to try glass blowing. Great talented teachers of lost arts at John C Campbell Folk School. Our community is very fortunate.
Hey! love the new photo of YOU!
Thanks Jane. Still getting used to all these "new" faces! Thanks for stopping by.
Lee and Carol - This is a GREAT post, and provides wonderful information about activities in your area.
Thanks for your kind comments, Myrl. It's really a wonderful school full of history and so much to offer the community.
A wonderful localism post... I like the new photos as well....
This is a great community post! I love to quilt and would so be at those classes trying to get new techniques and tips :)
Thanks Renee. I always wanted to learn to quilt the old fashioned way - by hand, but just couldn't get that needle moving. Instead I took a Traditional Hooked Rug class where they also taught dying techniques with the wool too.
Thanks for the encouraging comments Joan.
