Wow you will get heat for this post. MJ is a one of a kind and a remarkeable businessman. I have fond memeories when he can to ALabama to play baseball, a RE/MAX agent at the time handled a lot of rhe promoting of the team and we got to meet MJ and for several hours over the course of time he would talk about sports and business.

Tony, Without a doubt the best player ever to play the game. I don't approve of some how he ridiculed so many people while thumping his own chest so hard.

He could (should) have done a very classic, classy speech which would have solidified his position has one of the greatest athletes of any sport but instead he showed that he is just another egotistical, spoiled athlete. He is the greatest that ever played the game but on this occasion he lowered himself to a street thug playing basketball on a playground.

Charles, heat for what? Heat for it because he beat everyone and won 6 champonships? Or because he is the greatest of all time?

Richard, I don't think he ridiucled, it was mental toughness to keep his competitive edge. How else do you become the greatest of all time?

Dan, you didn't think this was classy...by telling his story? Second, he does not need a classy speech to solidify himself as the greatest athlete of all time. ESPN picked him as #1 athlete of the 20th century, long before this induction. Not sure where you are coming from when you say egotistical and spoiled...he earned everything he got. Confidence reigns over arrogance with MJ!
