Donna Harris wrote a post about the New ActiveRain picture options and requested that everyone change it back. Of course she just meant that it was taking her some adjustments to learn new faces. I have to admit I experienced the same thing. It took some getting use to, but I truly like the new look. I especially like the fact that I get to see my daughter each day I sign in to ActiveRain. That's who is with my in this picture.

Sure, I'll admit its not the most recent picture but thats because I still have a half smile (I'll be providing an update on that soon as well). But it is football season, so the picture still fits.

Anyway, the new feature is awesome because you can now crop a picture to include the portion you want. Many of you have updated your pictures and I like it. Much cleaner, brighter, and more friendly in some cases.

You know I love ya but I'm not sure if I could stand the Longhorn outfit. I might have to unsubscribe now.

I have a new picture to use, just haven't gotten it changed over everywhere yet! Loreena's pic above is very nice and clear!

Great pic of you & your daughter!

Loreena - that is not funny. I didnt unsubscribe to you when you were sporting the OU post.  :-)

Paul - I would like to say that I am, but I am not (not yet anyway). I have been so proud to be a Texan now that I would have loved to attend UT. Now I may have to take some classes (maybe a masters program) just to say that I attended.

Don't take the college alum jokes personally. I get them all the time here in Indiana as I am a Purdue alumnus and the same could be said about the Indiana graduates. Great picture of your daughter. If they only had a cure to make the guy in the orange outfit more photogenic. LOL

John - Love the Horns gear in your new picture.  I also updated my picture to an HD version, but it's the same picture.  The "thumbs up" has become part of my branding lately.  :)

Your daughter is cute... and by the way, I did change my picture back... I didn't like the "casual" look since I'm blogging for business.  Maybe I'll change my Facebook pic.

James!!! You have been such a stranger. I hope everything is going very well for you! Is your son still keeping you very busy? I like that you always end the day on twitter saying you are headed home to spend time with him.

Jason - Thats pretty funny and can see the 'thumb' being a trade mark for you.

Thank you Anna. I think we will keep her.

Lizette - Thats a great picture. Very clear and bright!

Donna - I thought about that also and then thought... my website has my professional picture. My blogging is who I am and not always about the business. Why not let people see ME and not a suit?!?  :-)  I'd like a person that is doing business with me to know that I am professional, but I am also a family guy. I do see your point though.

Erik - There is only one true UT and its burnt orange my friend!  HOOK EM HORNS!!

I'm not sure if I'd say we are even. I'm pretty positive this is something that could go on for quite some time. I've kept the Longhorn picture close for my comments to your post.
