Neither Lynda nor I play golf, nevertheless we are avid tennis players. We relocated to Pinehurst just over three years ago and since have been completely enamored with the friendliness of the people, the relaxed easygoing lifestyle and the traditional American values Pinehurst offers. 

Recently we had some dear friends visit us from Calistoga, California, and they remarked "Pinehurst reminds them of Carmel without the ocean."  Although we've not lived in Carmel, we have lived in some pretty amazing places, and will testify... There is no place quite like Pinehurst, North Carolina. Just 3 hours to the mountains and 2 hours to the ocean Pinehurst is in an ideal location.
