Talk Like a Pirate Day

What is on your schedule for Natonal Talk like a Pirate Day 2009?

Saturday September 19, 2009 is National Talk like a Pirate Day.

You've only got a couple of days to get an eye patch, a parrot, a peg leg or anything else you need.  You only have a couple of days to  learn the lingo.

Some offices are celebrating Friday because they won't all be together on Saturday...  I don't think my office will be celebrating...

Language  - Look for the page titled  "Why talk like a pirate - and how"

"Ahoy!" means  "Hello!"


"Arrr!" is multipurpose...

My goodness ~ It seems like just yesterday - really - that it was Talk Like A Pirate Day 2008.  That was the first year I knew of the holiday.  Time whizzes by so fast.
